The principle number one of selling would be to be a fantastic listener. Being a fantastic listener's incredibly important for two reasons actually: one is that you need to learn what the customer needs and is looking for, before you can help them. And you must do this by asking questions and listening. However, another reason is that in developing a relationship with a client that they much prefer someone who adheres to them. If you just talk, the client will feel that you are not interested in them, and, it’s evidence that you are not. Thus, it's very important to be a fantastic listener and ask the customer plenty of questions. These queries will likely start with open questions. That's questions like, tell me about what you're looking for and what was your previous supplier like? These are open questions. And then you follow those with unanswered questions in which you say tell me about that and, and then what happened or why did you believe that? It is the probing questions in which you really get the useful info.

Empathy is defined as the identification or Vicarious experiencing of the feelings, thoughts, or attitudes of another. In Other words, it's the ability to comprehend what another individual is thinking or feeling. In customer service, we will need to take this a step farther. We need to Demonstrate that understanding to our clients. Psychologists call this investigation. It makes the consumer feel okay for feeling the way they do. Failure to Validate a client's negative emotions can make them feel much worse. I had been here Two days before, and you did the specific same thing. I requested for four pumps of vanilla. You gave me like maybe two. - Well, it is not my fault that your drink got screwed up Last moment. I was not even here two days before, so.

We can all listen but are we really understanding and comprehending what us being said? Or are we listening to respond?.. There is a huge difference!
